Assistant Superintendent – Colorado

Salary: Starting at $80,000 (DOE) + Benefits & Perks

HC Company is seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent in Colorado to support project teams across our commercial construction portfolio. This role is designed for individuals with a strong foundation in construction who are ready to take the next step toward a leadership position. You’ll gain valuable experience traveling to project sites, supporting senior superintendents, and ensuring successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Superintendent in coordinating all on-site construction activities

  • Support QA/QC by reviewing installations and verifying materials meet project specifications

  • Help develop and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals

  • Assist in site planning, staging, and phasing for efficient project delivery

  • Monitor and enforce safety standards, participating in safety meetings and audits

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers regarding deliveries, logistics, and scheduling

  • Support in tracking RFIs, change orders, and project documentation

  • Ensure as-built drawings and reports are kept current under the direction of the Superintendent

  • Build strong relationships with project teams, subcontractors, and clients

  • Actively participate in the Safety Committee and promote HC Company’s culture of safety


What We’re Looking For:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or equivalent field experience preferred

  • 3–5 years of commercial construction experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role

  • Familiarity with project management and scheduling software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, MS Office)

  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

  • Understanding of construction means and methods, trade coordination, and safety requirements

  • A desire to learn, grow, and transition into a Superintendent role with HC Company
