Superintendent – Construction

Salary: Starting at $95,000+ (DOE) + Benefits & Perks

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all on-site construction activities while upholding HC Company’s standards of quality and integrity

• Supervise daily field operations, subcontractors, and labor to ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance

• Ensure superior QA/QC by verifying all installations and materials meet project specifications

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, communicating progress with all stakeholders

• Oversee site planning, layout, staging, and phasing for maximum efficiency

• Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting training and site audits

• Coordinate material deliveries, subcontractor activities, and owner-supplied equipment to prevent delays

• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, PCOs, and as-built drawings

• Conduct site meetings and collaborate closely with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure smooth execution

• Actively contribute to the Safety Committee and help refine companywide safety processes

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)

• 6+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent in commercial construction

• Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office)

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of ADA accessibility, jurisdictional compliance, and construction best practices

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams

• Proven experience in site layout, trade coordination, and construction technology
